June 4 ... Trust In The Testings

Blessed are those who have never seen Me,

and yet have believed and trusted in Me.

John 20:29

Our faith in Him is tested

                       when we're going through a trial

                       and cannot see or feel Him.

When we see Him and we trust,

                       what faith is that?

As trust is put to the test,

                       our faith grows

                                         if we hope,

                                         if we trust,

                                         if we know He's in control.

As we rejoice, though we cannot see,

                        we're trusting Him

                        and His faithful character,

                                          not ourselves or circumstances.

Our faith in Him is tested

                        when we're going through a trial.

Did you pass the test?

Did you learn and grow?

Or must you be retested

                         in this area of faith,

                         in this time of trusting?
