July 12 ... Look To Jesus Alone

Extol the Lord our God,
and worship at His footstool.
Holy is He.
Psalm 99:5


Are we too busy doing the work of the Lord
to do the will of the Lord?

Do our words start in our own minds
and not the heart of the Lord?

Do we seek approval of those 'round about
more than that of the Lord?

Do we set our hearts on things of earth
and not on things of the Lord?

Forgive me, Lord
I fall on You
and ask for you to cleanse and renew.

I want to seek Your holy face,
following hard after You alone,
and worship at Your feet.
