June 12 ... Rejoice In Him

Thank God in everything, no matter what the circumstances may be,

be thankful and give thanks; for this is the will of God

for you who are in Christ Jesus.

If we can look at hardships

with grateful hearts and minds,

seeing them as from God's hand

our nature to refine.

Then we'll better walk this life

with thankfulness and joy.

The grumbling and complaining

will lessen and subside.

His praise will be upon our lips,

His faithfulness we'll see,

and in His love we will rejoice,

defeating then the enemy.

Yes, joy will come as we walk with Him.

Hearts that are softened, pliable in His hand.

Lives that conform to His image and plan.

Minds filled with Jesus, as we stand

with our eyes focused on Him.
