June 13 ... Fall Before His Holiness

Who is like You, O Lord, among the gods?
Who is like You, so glorious in holiness,
awesome in splendor, doing wonders?
Exodus 15:11

We cannot comprehend the holiness of God,
or even more than glimpse at His great glory.

And, just this taste of Who He is
causes us to fall on our faces
in worship and total adoration.

Even as so many did in Old Testament and New,
may we see You in holiness and know our desperate need;
may we see You in glory and fall down on our knees.

Thank You for making us able
to know a little of You.
Thank You for Your precious blood
which covers and enables us
to walk and talk and to commune.

May we see the work You've done,
which lets us oh so freely come
to the God Almighty!
