August 18 ... Follow By Faith

When He has brought His own sheep outside,

He walks on before them,

and the sheep follow Him, because they know His voice.

John 10:4

When we are being changed to be more like His character;

recreated in His image as man first was created;

new creature in Christ Jesus as He had intended;

There's a lighted path we walk on,

when we can see all;

all the steps ahead of us are clear.

Then there comes the testing of this place of change,

where we are to walk by faith and not depend on sight.

Where we know the way He said and though we cannot see,

we will walk on straight ahead,

trusting Him as we obey.

And the faith we have will please Him,

and the change will come;

our old man will fade away,

and the world will see the Son!
