Oh, send out Your light and Your truth;
let them lead me,
let them bring me to Your holy hill
and to Your dwelling.

When the sun rises each morn,
it seems like the earth
is being recreated
and made new.
The dark places brighten,
the brightness shines forth,
and the light of the day
brings a freshness and joy.
As you meet with the Son each morn,
let Him in His mercy
recreate your heart
and make you anew.
Let His truth with brightness
shine forth upon you.
Let Him bring that freshness
that only He can do.
Let's walk in His fullness,
the warmth of His love,
and rise in new freedom
and joy from above!
