July 27 ... Seek His Wisdom

After all, the kingdom of God is not a matter

of getting the food and drink one likes,

but instead, it is righteousness,

and heart-peace and

joy in the Holy Spirit.

Romans 14:17

So much of what we see and hear

in the world today

is opposite of what God's planned;

it contradicts His way.

It's the wisdom of mankind,

not Almighty God.

And its values are deceptive,

leading many far astray.

'Put yourself as number one'

is their chant and creed.

But we know the way of life,

and life abundantly,

comes only as we give ourselves

to the only true, wise God.

He must be first in our hearts;

we must die to self.

He replaces all deception

with His peace and joy and truth!
