As the Captain of the Lord's host I am come.
And Joshua fell on his face to the earth
and worshiped Him.

Prince, Commander, Leader, Friend,
that's our Lord, our God.
Come to Him for all your guidance;
He's able to deliver you.
Seek Him while He may be found.
He wants to draw you near.
He holds the sword, His mighty Word,
it goes forth from His being.
It shall not be void or dispelled;
it shall accomplish what He's planned.
He's the Captain of salvation,
Shepherd of our souls.
He began His life within you,
and He's sure to cause the growth.
Step in line and follow Jesus.
He's the Captain of the host!
