August 11 ... Arise And Shine

Arise from depression...

rise to a new life! 

Shine and be radiant with the glory of the Lord;

for your light is come and the glory of the Lord

is risen upon you!

Isaiah 60:1

Do not feel unloved

when the Lord corrects you.

It's those He does love that He chastens.

It's love that He's showing

when He uses the rod,

and His loving hand that corrects us.

It may be directly,

by reading His Word

or hearing that still small voice.

It may be a brother

or sister speaks forth,

sharing the heart of the Lord.

So don't hang your head

or feel sorry and sad.

Arise and shine!

Rejoice and be glad!

Your Lord and Your Father

are caring for you!
