Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion
of Israel in the day of testing in the wilderness.

O Lord, I feel my heart rebelling
at the work You're trying to do.
I feel my soul and flesh compelling
me to turn my eyes from You.
But God, my heart desires You
more than life itself.
I want to only walk Your way,
not doing my own will.
Lord, I desire a wholesome heart
that leans and trusts in You.
I want to obey cheerfully
in all You ask me to.
May my life bring to You delight,
O God of my salvation.
