June 17 ... Trust The Son

It is the Lord Who goes before you;

He will be with you,

He will not fail you or forsake you;

do not fear or be dismayed.

Deuteronomy 31:8

When you wake up in the morning,

do you question if the sun

will be faithful in its rising?

Do you wonder "Will is come?"

or do you know it can be counted on?

What if the clouds are in the sky,

dark and dense and grey,

obscuring the sun's brightness?

Do you question if the sun 

is even there at all?

Or do you know it's there,

although it is not seen?

God is faithful always!

He never leaves or changes.

What He's promised He will do,

and you can count on Him.

Sometimes you will feel His warmth

and walk within His glory.

Other times things will seem dark

but know, dear one,

He's there with you.

You never walk alone!
