June 19 ... Walk In Faith

No unbelief or distrust made him waver

concerning the promise of God,

but he grew strong and was empowered

by faith as he gave praise and glory to God.

Romans 4:20

Just as God tested Abraham 

with Isaac, his dear son,

to see if he had lasting faith 

and trust unto the end.

So are we put to a test 

of lessons learned or not.

To see if it has truly gone 

from our mind into our heart.

For if we read and learned and prayed

but never had a trial,

how would we see, how would He know

that we could walk in it?

So search the Word and meditate

and use much prayer to build your faith.

And, when each trial comes your way,

rejoice and stand;

you'll pass the test

and trust Him to the end!
