August 22 ... Trust His Restoration

Restore us again, O God, and cause Your face

to shine on us.

Psalm 80:3

Lord, please restore;

renew our minds

with the capacities

we left behind

in the garden Eden.

Restore our love and knowledge

that was lost and diminished,

knowing ways of falsehood

from the ways of truth.

Restore our total trust in You

that was cast aside

through our choice,

and through deception,

and through our own selfish pride.

Revive in us the life of Jesus.

Create in us His image once again.
