What is the heart's cry
of a preparing bride?
"Come, my Groom, be with me soon!
Come to me, come quickly.
I yearn to there abide with You.
I long to be filled with Your glorious love."
But first she must be empty
of all self and pride,
ready there and waiting
for the perfect time.
When the Groom will come in glory,
come to take His bride.
Are we truly getting ready
for the final wedding day!?
