Try to learn what is pleasing to the Lord;
Let your lives be constant proofs
of what is most acceptable to Him.
Ephesians 5:10
As we die to self,
the character of God can shine forth.
As we grow in Him,
the qualities of His own Son
will be manifest.
His nature will be made known,
His thoughts and ways and will.
As we stop our striving,
our selfishness and pride,
His law will be written
in our hearts and minds.
And others will see
that our ways are His,
the obvious will be
His mind and not ours!
Oh, praise You for Your re-creation!
