June 26 ... Walk In Strength

Be eager to be found by Him
without spot or blemish,
and at peace, in serene confidence,
free from fears, agitating passions
and moral conflicts.
II Peter 3:14

It's not real hard to offer a prayer
that says,
"Lord, cleanse my heart and make it new;
take the sin, make me like You".

The hard part comes
when He answers that prayer,
and begins to reveal those things.

Then we feel hurt or discouraged and sad.
We might rebel or feel confused.

But what we need to see is this:
His great love and faithfulness.

We need to thank your heavenly Father,
change our ways in repentance;
accepting His forgiveness,
and His strength to carry on;
rejoicing at the deeper walk
the cleansing has resulted in;
not growing faint or losing heart,
but trusting in the One Who loves us!
