So get rid of all uncleanness and the outgrowth
of wickedness,
and in a humble spirit receive the Word
which rooted and implanted in your hearts
is able to save your souls.
James 1:21
Our holy God
does not want us to just put
the evil in our lives on hold.
We're to drive it out completely!
We're not to dabble in sin or toy with evil.
We're to destroy it all!
We're not to continue to lift and exalt
the old habits and ways.
We're to tear down those altars.
For sin is as a thorn in our sides
when we keep it;
it festers and brings forth death.
Evil can erect its throne in our lives
when we let it;
it spreads and permeates all.
The plan God designed
is the only true way
that we can find peace
and sweet victory!
