June 1 ... Come, Trust Your God

Sometimes I feel I can do nothing right.
So defeated in things of the natural.
The people and places and details around
not meshing or clicking at all.

I feel like the enemy's camped all about.
And tasks laid before me seem grievous.
My mind in a spin,
my heart in a whirl,
my soul filled with hurt and great condemnation.

But then I see Jesus ~
Beginning and End, Alpha, Omega is He,
Creator of all,
Controller of me.

My heart takes a turn,
I fall on my knees.
O Jesus, my portion,
my bright morning star,
You lift my spirits,
You make my heart soar.

You are the Mighty God,
King of all kings!
You are my comfort,
and I find shelter under Your wings!
