For we do not have a high priest
who is unable to sympathize
with our weaknesses,
but we have One
Who has been tempted in every way,
just as we are,
yet He was without sin.

Can I call on You
when my body is weary?
Do You know the cry of my heart?
Can I sit beside You
and tell You my worries?
Do You see my sorrows and grief?
Oh yes, You do hear me!
You do sympathize!
I have a High Priest Who can see.
He carries the load
of my grief and my sorrows,
Replacing it all
with His joy and His peace.
