March 19 ... Seek His Face

He is called Faithful and True.

Revelation 19:11

We seek to commune with You.

We seek Your presence among us.

                            For without You we are nothing.

                            Without You there is no life.

May Your presence and Your Word

                            be meat and drink to us.

May we find our satisfaction

                            only as we come to You.

For without You, we'd stay hungering;

                            our thirst would not be quenched,

                            our need for true companionship

                            would never be fulfilled.

When there's longing in our souls,

        You're the One to meet us.

When there's nowhere else to turn,

        You are Faithful,

                             wrapping Your love around us,

                             listening, comforting.

                             reassuring that you'll never 

                             leave us or forsake us!
