The law of the Lord is perfect
restoring the whole person.

I'm coming this morning to You, O Lord God.
My soul seems so darkened, my heart seems so hart.
Come in Your mercy, with Your gentle hand.
Soften the hardness, break up fallow ground.
Go deeper and deeper, search my whole heart.
Root out all barriers, do a cleansing work.
Shine Your great searchlight, the Light of Your Word,
into those places that I have kept hidden
in self preservation and buried so long.
