March 20 ... Consumed With Jesus

You have persevered and endured hardships, 

and have not become weary...

but you have lost your first love.

Revelation 2:3-4

It is pleasing to Him,

                             when we endure patiently,

                             bearing up, not growing weary.

He is glad when we have discernment,

                              knowing right from wrong,

                              not falling in with worldly ways,

                              nor the enemy's deception.

But the one thing that brings real joy

                              is our consuming love for Him,

                              causing us to rise up early,

                              sitting at His feet,

                              worshiping Him as Lord of all,

                              learning what He has to teach.

Looking in the eyes of Jesus,

                              we can make His joy complete!
