April 7 ... Find His Life

Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, 

and He will exalt you and lift you up.

James 4:10

Even in the suffering,

you can have His strength.

In fact, that's when His power

can openly be seen.

That is when His mercy 

will come abundantly.

That is when He draws you

close into His heart.

It's this time of pain and sorrow,

He will give you peace of mind.

He will wrap His arms around you,

and His life and strength you'll find.

Do not fight this death within you;

let it come and then you'll see

by His resurrection power

these hard times will plant a seed,

that will sprout and grow and blossom

and become that living tree

that He promised

in this time of suffering.
