March 16 ... Set Time Apart

For the sake of Your name, O Lord,

forgive my iniquity, though it is great.

Psalm 25:11

Oh Lord, I missed the sunrise

                     and our special time together.

I'm so glad that you're still here.

You're not a friend who leaves or pouts.

                     You always draw still nearer.

Forgive me for my slothfulness.

Renew my heart with zeal.

I long to long for time with You,

                     time set apart,

                     with nothing hindering,

                     nothing coming between

                                      the Lover and the Loved.
