I am ashamed to ask You to forgive my sin again.
Yet, I cannot bear to think of separation from Your Son.
I abhor the thought of a hardened heart.
O, come and soften mine I pray, Lord Jesus!
I desire not a haughty heart.
Come do what you must to humble mine.
May I have the heart of one
without deceit or guile;
one who has a single eye, not a double mind.
Unite my heart to fear Your Name.
