February 21 ... Bask In His Love

Who is God like You, Who forgives iniquity...

Who delights in mercy and in lovingkindness.

Micah 7:18

How can it be

              that He is our God,

                           and yet He desires

                                        to have us as friends?

How can we bow

              before Him in woe,

                           and yet He would walk

                                        with us hand in Hand?

How can we know

             He's King of the heavens,

                           and yet He dwells in us

                                         to comfort and guide?

It's only His love,

              His mercy,

              His grace

              that allows us to come alongside.

Not only to know Him and share in His heart,

              but to come unto Him as His bride!
