February 1 ... Draw Me

Thy Holy Hill  ~  Mt. Zion, Your Holy Mountain;
        not the high places of idol worship,
        but the mountain of living sacrifice.
That place where my whole being clings,
That place under the shadow of Your wings,
 That shadow of Your canopy;
        that canopy of the Bridegroom
        waiting for His bride to come,
        calling for His bride to come
        longing to satisfy her
                and be satisfied,
                savor her and be savored,
                strengthen her and be strengthened.

Draw me! Draw me! I will run after You!
        I will come into Your chamber;
                that chamber with the fountain of Life
                that fountain who cleanses,
                that fountain who washes,
                that fountain ~ that issue of life.

Draw me! Draw me!
        I will run from
                my closet of repetition,
                my valley of naked darkness,
                my valley of death.

Dawn upon me!  O Sun of Righteousness,
                           O Morning Light,
                           O Light of Life.

Cover me with Your garment of Light.
Clothe me in Your splendor.
Fill this temple with Your glory.
Robe this bride in Your righteousness.
Anoint me with Your oil of rejoicing,
                           the oil of wedding day joy.

Come, my Radiant Hero, my Valiant Warrior!
Come, Wings of the morning!
Come, my strength and my song!

Let us sing together.
Let us sing on Thy Holy Hill.
