February 10 ... Treasure Him

My son, keep my words and treasure up my commandments

and live. Keep My teachings as the apple of your eye.

Proverbs 7:1-2

He is a Treasure to us

                       and we are to Him.

If our relationship with Him falters or withers,

                       the blowing fragrance fades

                       and the joy decreases.

If we continue in Him,

                       He instructs us with His eye

                       and hides us as under an apple tree,

                       under His wings as His peculiar treasure.

He guards us and keeps us

                        and warns the enemy not to touch us.

As the apple of His eye,

                        we're to treasure His teachings

                        as the apple of our eye.
