January 14 ... Look To Him

Oh, satisfy us with Your mercy

and Your lovingkindness in the morning,

that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

Psalm 90:14

Look not to yourself for your fulfillment,

            nor to the world for peace and joy.

Jesus alone brings true satisfaction;

            abide in Him, let Him lead your way.

Without a vital connection with Jesus,

            your path will seem dreary and dim.

Wake up the dawn communing with Him,

            and the Bright Morning star

                            will lighten your day!

Look at those around you - scurrying and striving to find ... what? Do they even know what they look for? Let Him give you a burden to minister to them today. As He fills you with Himself, let Him flood over onto them with His Light.
