My son, attend to my words;
consent and submit to my sayings.

The grass withers and the flower fades,
but the Word of the Lord stands forever;
His Word, which guides your steps each day.
His Word, which is your hope and stay.
His Word, which holds and keeps you safe;
that Word which stands forever.
The mind of man goes to and fro,
not stable or secure.
But the Word of God is settled in heaven,
forever firm and sure.
His Word, more precious than gold or pearls.
His Word, when spoken can cure your ills.
His Word, which feeds and satisfies.
That Word established forever!
